One of the Valley’s largest payroll service providers is seeking an experienced payroll specialist to process payrolls for a large and varied client base. Extensive payroll experience and excellent customer relations skills a must. Job experience in a payroll service provider or PEO environment preferred.
Position is responsible for entering and processing payrolls, running reports, preparing checks for delivery and other payroll related tasks. Multi-state payroll experience a plus. This is a high volume, deadline driven position that requires accuracy and self review.
Process incoming payrolls. Payrolls are submitted by phone, email and all other payroll related information
Troubleshoot and problem-solve client payroll issues
Process payroll in accordance to Federal/State regulation and company guidelines, resources function including, but not limited to, FLSA, ADA, Civil Rights Act of 1964, and FMLA
Provide excellent customer service and accurate processing
Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook 2010 or newer
Communicate professionally, clearly, and politely with clients and co-workers
Strong organizational skills
Must be very detail oriented and posses the ability to perform multiple tasks under time constraints
Must be willing and able to work as part of a team and support other team members
Ability to work at a faster-than-average pace; ability to learn quickly, thoroughly, and in detail
HRPyramid/PrismHR experience preferred
Experience with a PEO/Service provider preferred
